Once Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson met at their church in Hamburg they knew there was no going back. Ashley, who was seventeen at the time, and had never been in previously had a romantic relationship, took her time. It was love at first sight. Andrew asked on New Year's Eve, right before the new year began in 2016, to God would give him one last blessing in the year. It was also hoped that Ashley would get married to him. Ashley was looking for a classy wedding with a theme of woodland. It was important for her to ensure that the wedding reflected both Andrew and Ashley. For the wedding, they combined everything that was important to the couple. Ashley grew in the 40-acre land that was selected as the venue for their wedding. Ashley explored the area and had fun on it all, from the route they took towards the fields where the couple exchanged vows. Andrew, Ashley and their friends had already walked in the area many time when they began dating. Being that the wedding was essentially DIY, personalization played an important aspect. Andrew and Ashley's Dad made their seating area as well as the arch for the wedding ceremony. Ashley painted many of these decorations. Ashley states, "Our wedding would not be the unforgettable experience that I've always imagined had Anna's stunning flower arrangements hadn't been done." Truly amazing.
